In October 2008 I organised an event in Salford called "My Life, My Dream", which was commissioned by Salford City Council.

This was attended by around 80 delegates and held at the Worsley Court House.  The event was about telling people there was more to life than just going to day centres.

In 2007 I organised an event for the Disability Awareness Week, which was based at Highcroft People Centre, Bebbington.  There were a number of activities throughout the day, championing the lives of people with learning disabilities on the Wirral.

Every year we co-ordinate a three day residential conference for over 130 people with learning disabilities and their support workers. These conferences attract speakers including government ministers and other national lead players. Delegates work hard and play hard and the conference, for many, is one of the highlights of the year!

In 2008 I went to Beacon Hill High School to give a talk on how to start your own business.
